Learn to Windsurf Courses
We have two courses running each month to get you up and away windsurfing! . Our senior instructor and Top coach Torin will take you through the basics of the best sport in the world. Dates are Saturdays and Sundays every two weeks throughout the season from May to August.
The course is a full day and starts a 9.30am and finishes at 430pm.
Please meet at the CWC clubhouse & compound at Castle Semple. Remember we have wetsuits and buoyancy aids and all the kit you will need. Just bring some food, water, and snacks for all the energy you will expend!
Once you’ve got the basics then it would be great to have you return for club evenings. Keep your skills going at our Thursday night adult session. The course cost includes club membership.
Feedback from last year’s sessions was really positive so don’t miss out (and keep up with the kids!) See you on the water
Equipment Hire
Club Equipment to hire for Members
Beginner kit:
The club has large beginner boards and sails are ideal for beginners, learners, and some light wind free style. These large floaty boards with small sails are easier to get sailing. There are no foot straps or harness lines to get in the way. When beginners start to plane we can offer intermediate windsurf equipment. The sails, boom and mast extensions are pre-set so no need to adjust anything. Our instructors will set up the rigs and sails correctly.
Intermediate kit:
Club kit is available intermediates who have mastered the basics and want to try a shorter board and larger sail. If you want to use our CWC equipment PLEASE read the notes below.
